Frequently asked questions.
Short answers for people using Mozart in a Discord community.
What does Mozart do?
Mozart is a Discord music bot with queue management, Lavalink playback, server settings, moderation tools, and a dashboard for authorized users.
Why does the dashboard use Discord login?
Discord OAuth identifies your account and lets the dashboard verify which connected servers you share with the bot. The dashboard does not accept a separate password.
What can a normal dashboard user do?
Members of a connected server can view a limited server overview, current music state, ordinary music controls, account settings, and support tickets. Moderation, roles, server settings, command policy, logs, and operations require the matching live Discord permission.
How does server access work?
The dashboard separates servers shared with Mozart from servers you can manage and invite the bot to. Shared-server actions are evaluated per guild against fresh Discord permissions; an invite option is shown where Mozart is not installed.
How does music work?
The dashboard delegates queue and playback state to Mozart’s in-process MusicManager. Kazagumo and Lavalink provide audio transport; the browser does not maintain a second queue.
What information does the dashboard store?
Depending on configuration, it stores a Discord profile record, cached guild authorization data, music history, audit/security records, and session information. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I request data deletion?
Sign in, open My Account, and choose Privacy & data. The deletion workflow explains the categories removed and the limited security records that may be retained.
Where can I get support?
Signed-in users can create a private support ticket and follow replies from the dashboard. The public Support page also links to the operator’s configured community destination when one exists.
